Wrestling rankings

Just days before the Regional wrestling meet, which qualifies wrestlers for the Mat Classic state tournament, the latest wrestling rankings have been posted.

In the 3A team classification, Mercer Island was ranked No. 10 overall.

Individually, Luke Wilson was ranked No. 11 in the 106 weight class, while Jake Pruchno was No. 12 in the 113 class.

Blake Johnson was ranked No. 2 in the 160 weight class, with Phil Frazier holding the No. 1 spot in the 182 class.

The team will travel to Skyline this Saturday for the Regional meet.
