Six Islanders make all-state lacrosse teams

Six members of the Mercer Island High School girls lacrosse team were named to the 2010 All-State teams for division I and division II.

The MIHS division II team earned the team sportsmanship award for division II.

Named to the division I first team included: senior Ellen Haas, who was also named to the first team last year. Named to the second team were seniors Catherine Laplant, defender, Talia Homchick, midfield and Hannah Bahn, attack.

On the division I first team from Mercer Island was sophomore defender Megan Jemley and to the division II second team was freshman Dulce Moll, who play midfield.
